What to do about the different types of noise in your neighbourhood – including the noise in your own home.

When to contact the EPA
The EPA is responsible for administering the Protection of the Environment Operations (Noise Control) Regulation 2026. We share responsibility for enforcing the Noise Control Regulation with local government, NSW Police, NSW Roads and Maritime Services and other agencies.
The EPA also regulates noise from some sources.
