Remanufacture NSW

Remanufacture NSW supported organisations to respond to the regulation of the export of plastic, glass, tyres and paper and cardboard under the Australian Government's Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020.

Remanufacture NSW aims to maximise recycling and reuse activities for regulated materials, contributing to meeting the Australian and NSW Government’s resource recovery targets, while keeping resources within the circular economy.

Remanufacture NSW: Regional and Remote

A separate funding round targeting regional and remote areas was introduced. The program recognises that regional and remote areas require better access to waste management and processing. The areas of interest for this round was all non-metro areas falling under the ABS classifications of inner and outer regional, remote and very remote areas.
