In 2023 we publicly consulted on the statutory review of environment protection licences for Bayswater, Eraring, Mount Piper and Vales Point coal fired power stations.

Each power station must carry out monitoring as required by their environment protection licence (EPL) and must publish the results on their websites.

Monitoring the environmental condition of Lake Macquarie
The assessment into the ecological condition of Lake Macquarie was undertaken to measure the environmental conditions near power stations in the lake to assess the current condition, provide a basis for comparison in the future and contribute to any future remediation activities.
