Determinations relating to roll stability of tank trailers used to transport dangerous goods
The following determinations apply to all tank trailers which are heavy vehicles (GVM greater than 4.5 tonnes), including
- semi-trailers
- B-Double trailers
- dog trailers
- pig trailers
It is mandatory for a roll stability system (RSS) to be fitted to heavy vehicle tank trailers built on or after 1 July 2014 used to transport dangerous goods in NSW.

From 1 January 2019, ALL dangerous goods tank trailers operating in NSW are required to be fitted with roll stability.
