Win for residents as Dial-A-Dump forced to pay
Dial-A-Dump (EC) Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Bingo Industries Limited, has been fined $280,000 by the NSW Land and Environment Court, after the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) received around 750 complaints from residents in Sydney’s west, about offensive rotten egg gas odours in 2021.

$7 million in new grants to reduce food waste and feed those in need
The NSW Government is supporting businesses and food relief charities to reduce the 1.7 million tonnes of food that goes to waste every year in NSW, with the opening of two new grants programs.

Donate food: feed people, not landfill

EPA fines Forestry Corporation $45K
The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has fined Forestry Corporation of NSW (FCNSW) $45,000 after two separate incidents in Nadgee State Forest on the far south coast and Bagawa State Forest near Coffs Harbour.
