We held an online forum on 12 November 2021 for membership organisations that represent stakeholders that are regulated by the EPA.
The forum was for senior executives of peak bodies with an interest in the policies and procedures of the EPA and to develop our ongoing relationship.
Attendees had the opportunity to ask questions of the EPA Executive team as well as actively participate in discussions.
We asked for input to assist the EPA in making improvements to our industry reporting as well as the areas where we can provide support and partner together.
The forum's objectives were to:
- provide information on our strategic direction, introduce our regulatory strategy, key priorities and new initiatives including our data and digital strategy
- discuss our work and engagement with peak bodies, particularly around managing risks earlier, to be more prepared and resilient
- listen and have honest conversations, including answering any questions
- hear attendees’ thoughts on improving our industry reporting, including what is important to report and method and frequency.
