    Welcome to the Winter edition of EPA Connect. The EPA, like many NSW Government agencies, has undergone a period of change since our last newsletter as part of the Machinery of Government changes. As such, the EPA remains an independent agency but within the new Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) Cluster.

    1. Return and Earn hits 2 billion

      In a major milestone for litter reduction in NSW, Return and Earn has collected 2 billion drink containers and reduced eligible container litter volume by 57 per cent in just over 18 months since it started. Read more

    6. No time to waste: consultations and conferences call

      Since our last edition, the Love Food Hate Waste team has been busy partnering with 1Million Women at their Love Earth Festival garnering a spot on morning television. They also bring timely tips for saving food waste over winter or any other season. Read more
