    2. Rail industry regulatory consultation on track

      The EPA’s Metropolitan Infrastructure section has held a series of information and feedback sessions for rail industry and community members to focus on recent regulatory changes requiring rolling stock operators to hold environment protection licences. Railway infrastructure operators are already required to be licensed. Read more

    3. Environmental educators meet on learned ground

      The NSW EPA was proud to promote best practice in environmental education at the Australian Association for Environmental Education NSW conference in October. Read more

    4. Audit to improve sewage treatments environmental flow

      The NSW EPA is working with small sewage treatment plant operators to assist them in improving their environmental performance, including around wastewater management, equipment and monitoring. Read more

    5. Through dust or snow, the compliance show goes on

      The Broken Hill Environmental Lead Program (BHELP) achieved another significant milestone in September with the launch of a new LeadSmart School Program. Read more

    7. The future use of Mixed Waste Organic Outputs in NSW

      The NSW EPA is seeking feedback on the future use of general household waste and mixed waste organic outputs (MWOO), and a transition package designed to support the alternative waste industry to move to sustainable uses. Read more
