Grants calendar for funding under the Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy and Plastics Action Plan
Use our grants calendar to find funding available in the coming months under the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy 2041 and the NSW Plastics Action Plan.
From July 2022, funding opportunities under the Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy 2041: Stage 1 Plan: 2021-2027 (the Strategy) and NSW Plastics Action Plan (Plastics Plan) will be rolled out.
The NSW Government is investing $356 million in funding to help deliver priority programs and policy reforms under the Strategy and Plastics Plan. These priority programs will help transition NSW to a more circular economy and help mitigate climate change impacts.
To ensure that stakeholders don’t miss out on critical funding opportunities that are available to them under the Strategy and Plastics Plan, we have developed an online grants calendar. This will assist our stakeholders in forward planning for future projects.
Information on the grants will be updated periodically to reflect best available information and is subject to change. The grants available will encourage new approaches to reduce waste, increase recycling habits and support innovative solutions to low-carbon materials.
