Licence Condition
The licensee must construct a new leachate containment dam at the premises to increase leachate holding capacity and replace the current leachate dam infrastructure by no later than 1 April 2025. The leachate dam must be designed and constructed in accordance with the requirements outlined in the NSW EPA Environmental Guidelines: Solid Waste Landfills (2016).
The licensee must provide to the EPA a Leachate Management Plan prior to commencing leachate dam construction works. The plan must be prepared by a suitably qualified person and detail how leachate will be managed at the premises up until the commissioning of the new leachate dam to prevent environmental harm.
