Collection point operator

There will be more than 500 Return and Earn collection points across NSW for used eligible drink containers, including more than 800 reverse vending machines. that could include reverse vending machine sites, local shops, depot sites, existing recycling centres or a combination of all. More than half the collection points will be automated, and contain 2 or 4 RVMs. Collection points may also be local shops, depot sites, existing recycling centres, or a combination of all, where anybody can return an eligible drink container for a 10-cent refund.
 
The location of collection points will be determined by the Network Operator, TOMRA-Cleanaway.

Are you interested in being a collection point operator?

The EPA is establishing a register of parties interested in being a collection point operator. The aim of the register is to connect potential collection point operators across the state with the Network Operator, TOMRA–Cleanaway.

Anyone interested in being a collection point operator is invited to register their interest with the NSW EPA. To register, please fill in the collection point operator registration form.This register will be open until Return and Earn commences on 1 December 2017.

Please note registration with the EPA is not compulsory. Potential collection point operators who do not register will not be excluded.
