Community groups can now fundraise through Return and Earn
Local schools, charities, sports and community groups can become donation partners of Return and Earn and raise funds by being listed on their local reverse vending machine. Eligible not-for-profit groups can apply to the Network Operator, TOMRA Cleanaway, to be included as one of the four donation partners listed on their local reverse vending machines.
Community groups can then encourage their supporters to collect for their cause and do something good for the environment at the same time. Groups can use these donations however they see fit - to buy school or sports equipment, host an event, replace or repair equipment, or go on an excursion.
Return and Earn has been embraced by the NSW community with more than 280 million containers returned across the state and 570 collection points now open.
Since 1 December donation partners have shared in thousands of dollars through reverse vending machine donations, and countless more through direct donations of eligible containers.
Groups can check their eligibility and apply to be on their nearest reverse vending machine in the Donation Partners section of the TOMRA Cleanaway website at www.tcnsw.com.au
Donation partners are selected based on their eligibility on a first-come-first-served basis and will be rotated quarterly.
