Eden Region IFOA

The Integrated Forestry Operations Approval (IFOA) for the Eden Region was granted in 1999 and extends until 2019.

The explanatory note (PDF 16KB) outlines the IFOA’s relationship to the Regional Forest Agreements, the roles of agencies and Ministers in enforcing the IFOA, and the reporting and review requirements.

The Eden region covers about 800,000 hectares, from Delegate and Cape Howe in the south to near Bermagui and Nimmitabel in the north.

The NSW Government is remaking the IFOAs for the Eden, upper north east, lower north east and southern regions into one Coastal IFOA, which is efficient, effective and enforceable, and reflects modern best-practice regulation.
