Annual reporting

The Private Native Forestry (PNF) Code of Practice requires landholders to report to the EPA annually if they have carried out PNF operations in the previous calendar year, or if they plan to undertake PNF operations in the coming year.

On 25 August 2017, new legislative arrangements commenced for private native forestry. It should be noted that some references on the EPA's website and any publications may now be outdated. These documents will be progressively updated by the EPA to ensure current legislative arrangements are reflected. More detail about changes can be found here.

Landholders need to use a reporting template (PDF 24KB) for their annual report.

Annual reports are due at the end of March each year, and may be submitted to the EPA by emailing Landholders do not need to provide a report if they have not carried out any harvesting in the previous year and have no intention of harvesting their forest in the coming year.
