The WasteLocate page has more information on this new tool and the asbestos flyer explains how it affects the asbestos industry.

The facilities listed on the household asbestos page may also accept asbestos waste from business and industry.

For householders – dealing with asbestos at home

For information about household asbestos waste see Disposing of household asbestos.

Who is responsible for regulating asbestos waste?

The roles and responsibilities of local and state government organisations for managing asbestos in different scenarios are outlined in the Asbestos Blueprint for NSW (PDF 3.89MB).
