NSW Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2007

Waste Strategy cover imageThe Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2007 updates the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2003 (Waste Strategy 2003).

It also includes a performance report against the recycling and other targets set in 2003 and key programs implemented in NSW during this time.

Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2007

Waste Strategy 2007 retains the current targets and proposes priority areas and actions to guide the work of all key groups in NSW in contributing to the minimisation of environmental harm from waste disposal and the conservation and efficient use of our resources.

Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Performance Report 2006

WARR Performance Report 2006 cover imageDECC is required to report progress against the Waste Strategy every two years. This is the second progress report and was originally published in combination with the consultation draft of the revised Waste Strategy in 2006 which has now been finalised as Waste Strategy 2007.

This Performance Report has now been re-released as a stand alone document and describes progress against the targets and goals established in Waste Strategy 2003 as well as results from DECC's waste reduction and resource recovery programs.
