Engaging with the Environment Protection Authority

As the state's primary environmental regulator, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) works with community, business, industry and government to manage and reduce pollution, waste and adverse impacts on the environment. Maintaining effective engagement with stakeholders is a priority for the EPA and a key result area of its Strategic Plan.

The EPA is committed to improving its processes and tools to better inform, consult and involve stakeholders in all areas of its work. The Engaging with the EPA booklet summarises the EPA’s engagement objectives, principles and communications approach.
