Private native forestry fact sheets

On 25 August 2017, new legislative arrangements commenced for private native forestry. It should be noted that some references on the EPAs website and any publications may now be outdated. These documents will be progressively updated by the EPA to ensure current legislative arrangements are reflected. More detail about the changes are available.

Four private native forestry (PNF) fact sheets were released in June 2013 to provide landholders with information about getting started in PNF and their obligations under the PNF Code of Practice (the Code).

PNF plan holders can request copies of the fact sheets by contacting their local PNF office.

Private native forestry guidelines

Protocols and guidelines have been developed to help landowners and forestry contractors meet the requirements under the Code.
