BioBanking course for local government
DECC will be conducting a series of free training courses for local government officers on the BioBanking Scheme. The course is aimed to develop knowledge and understanding on how BioBanking interacts with existing planning legislation under the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The training program will provide the necessary awareness and instructions for council staff on the rules and administration of the scheme.
Who should attend?
People who are involved in the development application process should attend the course, for example:
- strategic planners
- environmental planners
- development approval staff
- natural resource managers
