Materials for schools
The following programs are designed for use in schools. They contain activities for students, both in groups and as individuals, class-directed and self-directed. The outcomes of the programs meet the requirements of relevant curriculums in New South Wales schools.
Airwatch – Make the link: a program for use in secondary schools that examines air quality and the factors which influence it. The program links with the Stage 4–5 Geography: Managing Global Environments and Issues in Australian Environments syllabuses. Airwatch may also be incorporated into several areas of the Stage 4 and Stage 5 Science syllabuses.
Active for Air: a program for use in primary schools to encourage an understanding of air issues and promote the idea that good air quality and good health go hand-in-hand.
